I've just pushed a new patch of bug fixes. Bonfire Peaks isn’t for everyone, but if you played and had a good time with it, then I’m sure this DLC will be like reconnecting with an old friend.Ĭorey Lost Memories part 1 coming March 2 February 3, 2023 One part for each “category” of puzzle we had cut.Īll that is to say that this DLC is not an afterthought (some of the levels were made back in 2019!) and I’m so excited that the first of the 3 parts is finally out. So, we decided to take the time to polish and finish it as a 3-part DLC. Unfortunately, the content we cut was among my favourite stuff in the game! In the true spirit of Bonfire Peaks, maybe I should have moved on and been done with it, but… I really want this stuff to exist in the world.
It eventually got TOO big and, in order to ship, co-designer Alan Hazelden and I had to make hard decisions to cut entire puzzle mechanics, and dozens of puzzles along with them. If not, the DLC will be a strange introduction to a bunch of the deep-game mechanics and twists.)īonfire Peaks is many times bigger than I originally intended. (Note: Lost Memories can be played on a fresh save file, but for best experience you should play through Bonfire Peaks first. We haven’t set a date for those yet, but they’re in active development!
I’m excited to announce that part 1 is OUT NOW!īuying the DLC now will also entitle you to parts 2 and 3 when they’re available. Since the game released in September 2021, we’ve been actively developing a trilogy of DLC called Lost Memories, a near-sequel’s worth of puzzles which will be released in 3 parts.
